Tea and Sympathy EP Reviews so far:
The opening track, Tea and Sympathy has an upbeat
sound, and is an achingly beautiful acoustic track. Welcome to my Lifestyle
has a richer sound, and the thought-provoking lyrics come thick and
fast. Beat of My Heart has the sound of a folk-inspired Paolo Nutini;
whilst Seagull is a gentler, stripped down acoustic track with some
sumptuous pastoral imagery. The four tracks give a good indication of
Griffith's style and not inconsiderable talents.

London may seldom be in short supply of acoustic troubadours,
but few
come with the vocal panache of Paolo Nutini and a bittersweet dusting
of
Americana (imagine The Counting Crowes had they frequented more
Whetherspoons). Ben Griffith's 'Tea&Sympathy E.P' is loaded with
F.M
friendly, folk-tinged balladry worthy of the attention of any British
songwriter.
